You are a bulb that lights once in a lifetime. Yet it's easy to ignore who you are. Jesus left us a challenge; “You are the light of the world. " Find your element -that which brings out the divine light in you - and with it, LIGHT UP THE WORLD, WITH YOUR DIVINE LIGHT. Use it to make a difference, light up another's path, lighten someone's burden and enlighten others. You are created in the image of the light of the world. Uncover your radiance, and LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE!

   We are not here to displace an amount of air equal to our volume. No. We are here to displace darkness equal to our light.

There exists in you a light, the true essence of who you are. However dark the places you've been, at the core of your heart, a flame awaits to be fanned. Wake up. Let the glow of your light illuminate the world! I could not agree more with Evelyn Dunbar:
“We are each gifted in a unique and important way. It is our privilege and our adventure to discover our own special light. "

Edison was simply lighting up from within when he invented the light bulb. So were Antonio Meucci and Alexander Graham Bell when they invented the telephone and J. H Smith when he came up with the idea of computers. Look at how these inventions have made the earth a brighter place. When you shine in your area, the world brightens up because you become an answer to a world question, a solution to a world problem.

You were created by the light of the world to be the light in the world. Even if it be a flicker, you can fan it into a flame. “ The Hero is who kindles a great light in the world, who sets up blazing torches in the dark streets of life for men to see by. The saint is the person who walks through the dark path of the world, himself a light, " Said Felix Adler. The world waits for each one of us to switch on our light through sincere efforts, and working with, not against our authentic selves.

FIND YOUR LIGHT WITHIN AND PROJECT IT. You are a storehouse of assorted treasures that are meant to bless the world and enrich your life. Much as the admirable radiance of others helps illuminate your path, resist getting blinded by it.
There are dark places on earth all because some of us have not discovered their light and let it drive away the darkness. There is no better way to say it than Bram Stoker: “ There are ‘darknesses' in life and there are lights, and you are one of the lights, the light of all lights. "

   Arise to the consciousness of your divine light, and with it go light the world, for you are the light of the world.

Let humanity not suffer another dark day because your light is under a bushel. Pursue what you are passionate about. That book you haven't written, that song you haven't sang, that lesson you haven't learned, the skill you haven't acquired could be the ball of light that the world is waiting to shine brilliantly. Let your sun shine, for when we all do that, we make the world a brighter place. Ignite the desires in you for greater purpose and work hard to fulfill that divine purpose in you.

ARISE AND SHINE, YOU HAVE GOT LIGHT WITHIN YOU.

I remember one evening when the sky above Turkana burned slowly into dusk, the sun dissolving into a red wound over the horizon.
