KAINUK; WHERE THE EARTH BLEED...
In the past few weeks, the media has been awash with disheartening, disgusting and bamboozling news about insecurity and banditry along the Southern corridor especially the beautiful Kainuk town (K-town). In all of these news, Kainuk has been on the spotlight as the most insecure place arguably in Kenya. In this place, the earth bleed blood of people killed by Pokot bandits. However, this was evidenced by day to day Highway killings of innocent travellers vis-a-vis cattle rustling. If we we're to be historically factual, Pokot bandits raiding this area of Turkana County have killed innocent people who are cumulatively more than what any genocide has taken to the grave in the world. Nevertheless, Kainuk is a name derived from the house of a mother (INOK). The name was called KAI-AINOK. Which the white man is his accent named KAINUK. This KAI-AINOK was situated in the current LAMI NYEUPE (Formerly LAMI NYEUSI). Infact, it is somewhere after LAMI NYEUPE on your way to Kitale. T...
